Accommodation

If you require accommodation, DriveAway Holidays has access to hotels around the globe, apartments in the world’s most fabulous cities. If it’s flexibility you want, we can also assist you with ‘Go as you Please’ accommodation passes in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

DriveAway Excess Refund Cover

DriveAway Holidays offers a unique product called the DriveAway Excess Refund Cover (or DERC). DERC is an inexpensive way to cover you for the cost of excess charged by your car rental supplier in the event of vehicle theft or accident. Ferries

Europe - Did you know that you can take you UK rental car to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland and vice versa? Or, did you know that there is an alternative to flying between the UK and Northern or the Republic of Ireland? Stenaline has run ferry services on these routes successfully for many years and Irish Ferries offer an efficient alternative on similar routes. Drive your car onboard for a continuous rental or drop you car before you board and pick up another on arrival, its up to you! We can help you decide which option is the most economical for you. New Zealand - The Interislander ferry is an excellent option for travelling between the North and South Islands of New Zealand. Not only does it save time and money, but the journey is considered to be one of the most scenic short cruises in the world. Rental cars cannot be taken onboard but motorhomes are allowed and you can also travel as a foot passenger and make use of all the facilities onboard. For information and quotes, click here.
