Go as you please accommodation vouchers can be the perfect accompaniment to any self-drive holiday. They offer you the freedom to either book your accommodation a few nights ahead as you drive, or to pre-book each property yourself prior to your departure from Australia via email or the internet. The following programs offer a mixture of B&B’s, Inns and Hotels; giving you many more options to enhance your holiday. Whatever program you choose, a warm welcome and comfy bed awaits.

IHM offer two pre-paid voucher programs throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Firstly the ‘Our House is Your Home’ program that offers over 500 owner-operated B&B’s and then there’s ‘The Circle’ program which lists around 270 independent Hotels and Inns. Booking your accommodation is easy, just refer to your property directory or logon on to www.circlehotels.co.uk where you can research all the available areas and properties. Once choices are made, clients must contact the property directly by phone, fax or email 48 hours prior to the intended date of stay.

Valid for stays: 01 Jan-31 Dec 08. Minimum Stay: 3 nights. The Circle Hotels & Inns Category 1 represents accommodation at an Inn or Guesthouse and is the entry level for Inn & Hotel voucher program. Subsequent supplements for categories 2-5 represent supplements for stays in Inns, Guesthouses and Hotels of a higher standard and/or better locations than properties at the entry level.

Bed & Breakfast in UK

Premier B&B in UK

From $104* per person per night

The ultimate B&B experience featuring over 600 magnificent homes and mansions around Britain. Furnishings vary from high quality to plush interiors. Some properties serve an evening meal at an additional cost. (Premium property supplements may apply, check guide or website for details).

Discover The Hotel & Inn Collection

From $113* per person per night, based on Bronze Category

A recently enhanced program offering over 1200 Hotels and Inns located in cities, country towns and villages throughout Britain. Experience warm and friendly hospitality in home-style settings. Bronze is the entry level to the program and offers Traditional Inn or 2 Star hotel accommodation. Silver to Platinum properties require surcharges to be paid directly to the proprietor upon check-in. Each property’s category can be found in the accommodation directory or by logging on to the website at www.discovertravelandtours.com.

Rates Include:

• Room with Private facilities (excluding B&B in UK with shared facilities).
• Cooked Breakfast daily (except London with Continental Breakfast).
• Accommodation Directory.
• Service charges and VAT.

Bronze is the entry level to the program and offers Traditional Inn or 2 Star hotel accommodation.
Silver is the level for standard 3 Star hotel accommodation.
Gold category hotels are generally in the 3-3.5 star range of hotel accommodation available with standard facilities in good locations or offering nice views.
Platinum is the highest category showcasing hotel accommodation with the best facilities and/or locations in the program.

Bookings: DriveAway Holidays issues all clients with E-voucher numbers, clients must make their own advance property reservations. This is done by booking directly with the property on arrival in the UK, using the Dial-a-Bed booking system or via the website at www.discoverbookings.com.

Accommodation can be difficult to acquire during the Northern Summer months, Christmas & New Year. In addition, it is reasonable to expect that you may have to alter your itinerary as you go if accommodation is not available in the town/s that you first choose. It is advisable to book well ahead during these times to avoid disappointment.
