Amendment and Cancellation Policy

Car Rental:

  • Amendments: No charge, unless applied by the supplier. If an amendment occurs, DriveAway Holidays reserves the right to re-price. All amendments must be made directly with DriveAway Holidays. Conditions apply. In some cases, travel agent charges will also apply.

  • Cancellations: No charge if the booking is cancelled prior to collection. In some cases supplier levied fees and/or travel agent charges may apply. If a booking is cancelled after collection or is a ‘no-show’, a cancellation fee of AUD110 plus supplier levied fees (if applicable) will be charged.

Peugeot Leasing:

  • Amendments: No charge, unless applied by Peugeot Sodexa. Amendments cannot be made within 17 days of collection and must be made directly with DriveAway Holidays. If an amendment occurs, DriveAway Holidays reserve the right to re-price. No changes are permitted once vehicle is registered. In some cases, travel agent charges will also apply.

  • Cancellations: If a booking is cancelled outside 6 weeks - No charge. If a booking is cancelled within 6 weeks of collection, a cancellation fee of AUD250 (loss of deposit) + Supplier levied charges will apply. In some cases, travel agent charges may apply.

Motorhome Rental:

  • Amendments & Cancellations: Cancellation fees apply. In some cases, travel agent charges will also apply. If an amendment occurs, DriveAway Holidays reserves the right to re-price. Motorcycle Rental - EagleRider®:

Amendments: If an amendment takes place less than 30 days prior to pick-up, the cancellation fees below will apply. Changes include but are not limited to, change in motorcycle model, pick-up/return cities, dates, and one-ways.

  • If cancelled 31+ days prior to pick-up: No Charge
  • If cancelled 30-21 days prior to pick-up: 30% of booking total
  • If cancelled 20-11 days prior to pick-up: 60% of booking total
  • If cancelled 10 days or less, on day of pick-up or no-show: 100% of booking total
  • No refund for late departure or early return
