Drive a Car Hire in Milan

A city packed with monuments and attractions, Milan is without a doubt one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe. Home to many world class museums, churches, galleries and historical buildings, not to mention a culture with a strong focus on exquisite fine dining and modern fashion, it's easy to see why the city has become such a highly regarded city for holidaymakers.

The most famous of Milan’s historical buildings, is without a doubt the Duomo, a cathedral located in the city centre. Park your hire car near the centre, and set off to explore the Duomo, as well as the other famous sites nearby. The Duomo is the largest gothic cathedral in the world, containing thousands of statues and artworks, and having a capacity of holding a massive 40,000 worshippers. A must see for anyone visiting the city.

Be sure to also visit the Sforzesco Castle, just a little north of here. Dating back to the 14th century, the castle has been restored into all its former glory since being damaged during war and now houses several museums. Highly recommended is the Museum of Historic Art, which is home to artworks by several of Italy’s most famous artists.

A short drive west of here, you can visit two more of the city’s must see attractions. Santa Maria delle Grazie is located here, and is a 15th century church in amazing condition. Right beside the church you can also see one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous works, “The Last Supper”. Right near the church, you will also find the Leonardo Da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum. Home to many of Da Vinci’s designs and ideas, as well as exhibits on physics and science, the museum is regarded as one of the best in Italy.
