Taxes and Levies: Auto Rent will recover any port or airport turnover fees that may be applicable or introduced, where not included in the rates.
Conditions:
Calculation of Rates: Rates are based on seasonal calendar days.
Minimum Age: 21 years.
Maximum Age: 75 years.
Licence Requirement: All drivers must have held a full, valid licence for a minimum of 3 years. The drivers licence must be current and be valid for the whole duration of the rental. Drivers must present a licence issued in English, or a foreign driver’s licence in English (or an accompanying certified English translation, provided by a Consulate or other authorised body), or a current International Driving Permit.
Minimum Rental: 6 calendar days.
Collection Time: Pick up time is anytime between 8.30am-4.45pm.
Return Time: Return time is anytime before 4.45pm.
Branch Hours: Devonport Airport - staffed at flight times only. Devonport City - Open 7 days a week 8am-5pm. Devonport Ferry - staffed at sailing times only. Launceston Airport, Hobart Airport & City - Open 7 days a week 8am-5pm.
After Hours: Available on request for an additional charge.

Insurance/Excess Reduction:
Insurance Excess: LowTop - AUD3,300 incl Tax. HiTop, 2 Berth, 2 Berth S/T, Twin Cab - AUD5,000 incl Tax. A higher liability of AUD9,900 incl Tax applies for accidents, damage or loss occurring on unsealed roads and for overhead damage.
Excess Reduction Option 1: LowTop - AUD25 incl Tax /day, reduces the vehicle/loss damage liability to AUD440 incl Tax. HiTop, 2 Berth, 2 Berth S/T, Twin Cab - AUD25 incl Tax /day, reduces the vehicle/loss damage liability to AUD2,500 incl Tax.
Excess Reduction Option 2: LowTop - AUD40 incl Tax /day, reduces the vehicle/loss damage liability to Nil. HiTop, 2 Berth, 2 Berth S/T, Twin Cab - AUD40 incl Tax /day, reduces the the vehicle/loss damage liability to Nil. This option includes tyre and windscreen damage buyout).

Additional Information:
Vehicle Age: Approx. 0-3 years. Vehicles cannot be requested by model, mileage or age, only by vehicle category.
Security Deposit: Cash - Not available. Credit Card - Required, deposit authorised on the renter’s credit card equivalent to the estimated cost of the rental (including any liability reduction options purchased).
Animals in Vehicle: No animals are permitted inside the motorhomes.
Smoking in Vehicles: Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles.
Fuel: Client is advised to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, the same as collection.
Storage: Not available at the AutoRent Hertz depots.
Cleaning Fee: Indoor cleaning charges will apply if the vehicle is returned in an abnormally dirty condition.
GST: GST is included on those items paid at time of collection.
