Lyon Airport

Pick-up: Vehicles can be picked up every day. When your flight arrives, contact MDS/Lyon on 04 72 48 42 02. You will be picked up free of charge by a minibus and taken to the welcome area (4 km away). You can only pick up your vehicle upon presentation of flight details or based on an appointment confirmed 3 working days in advance. We will wait for you for 1 hour after the actual arrival of the flight planned, and 30 minutes after your appointement time. Should you change flights or your appointment time, you must warn MDS/Lyon so that they will wait for you.

Drop-off: Vehicles can be dropped off every day. It is essential to make an appointment by telephone 3 working days in advance on 04 72 48 42 02 (from France) or on + 33 4 72 48 42 02 (outside France). Drop-off address: MDS/Lyon – 18, avenue du Maréchal-Juin – 69720 Saint-Laurent-de-Mure. You will be taken back to the Lyon – Saint-Exupéry airport free of charge by minibus. You can only drop off your vehicle upon presentation of flight details or based on an appointment confirmed 3 working days in advance. We will wait for you for 30 minutes after your appointement time.

Appointments can be made by phone: Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm. Appointments cannot be made by phone during weekends or public holidays.

How to get there: By car:

• Coming from the A42 highway (Paris, Geneva) - take the A432 motorway towards Saint-Exupéry airport, take exit 4 Saint-Laurent-de-Mure, and follow signs to “Les Marches du Rhône Parc d’Activité”.
• Coming from A43 highway (Lyon, Marseille, Chambéry, Grenoble) - take the A432 motorway towards Saint-Exupéry airport, take exit 5 Saint-Laurent-de- Mure, and follow signs to “Les Marches du Rhône Parc d’Activité”.
• The MDS centre is located near the “La Poste” building.

Pick-up: Take the “Location de voitures” (car rental) shuttle at gate 27 in Terminal 2. Get off at the 3rd stop “National Citer/Alamo”. For the passengers arriving at Terminal 1, go to gate 27 in Terminal 2 in order to take the shuttle bus. “Location de voitures” (car rental) shuttle bus times: From 7:30am to 9:30am and from 6pm to 8pm: every 6 minutes. From 5:30am to 7:30am, from 9:30am to 6pm and from 8pm to 11pm: every 10 minutes. Weekends and public holidays: every 15 minutes. You can only pick up your vehicle upon presentation of flight details or with an appointment confirmed 4 working days in advance.

Drop-off: Drop your vehicle off in the National Citer carpark situated in the airport’s “Location de voitures” (car rental) area. Then take the “Location de voitures” (car rental) shuttle bus to return to the airport Terminals. GPS coordinates: 5° 4’ 19” E - 45° 43’ 38” N. You can only drop off your vehicle with an appointment confirmed 4 working days in advance.

Appointments can be made by phone: From Monday to Friday: 8am to 8pm. Saturday and public holidays: 9am to 5pm. Appointments cannot be made by phone on Sunday.

Attention: Pick-ups and drop-offs at Lyons – Saint-Exupéry airport are handled seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays (during opening hours), upon presentation of flight details or with an appointment confirmed 4 working days in advance, with National Citer on 04 72 22 74 87 from France (or on +33 4 72 22 74 87 outside France).

How to get there:

• By Car: Coming from the A43 highway (Paris, Geneva) - Take highway A 43, then highway A 432 towards Lyons – Saint-Exupéry. At the entrance of the airport, follow the “Location de voitures” (car rental) signs, and then the National/Citer signs.
• By Bus: From Lyons Part-Dieu or Lyons Perrache train stations: Satobus.
