DriveAway Holidays Offers Adapted Car Rentals
in the UK for Drivers with Disabilities

DriveAway Holidays now offers adapted car rentals for drivers with disabilities.

Available from London, Manchester, Luton and Stansted, rentals can now be arranged with enhancements such as hand controls, left foot accelerators and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Pedal extensions can be tailor made to the needs of the individual driver and vehicle. Conversions to Renault Kangoos, Fiat Doblos through to VW Transporters allow wheelchair users to be loaded directly in the rear of the vehicle without being transferred out of the wheelchair. The Wheelchair Topbox enables the driver to stow their wheelchair into a roof box from the driver’s seat. An Indicator Crossover Bar can be fitted to bring the indicator over to the other side of the steering wheel.

Other adaptions are available to suit drivers’ requirements, and all vehicle conversions are fitted by Mobility accredited converters.
