Hervey bay is known for being the gateway to the world famous Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. Start your self-drive adventure at the marina in the suburb of Urangan, and take a boat or tour over to Fraser Island and see the rainforests, beaches and freshwater lakes which make it so unique.
