Avalon Airport is located just 55 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, which is an easy 45-minute, toll-free drive. To get to Melbourne CBD from the airport, as you head towards Melbourne from Avalon you’ll pass through Werribee. It’s worth hopping off the freeway and stopping at Werribee Open Range Zoo.
