SEM Specialist
DriveAway is looking for an SEM Specialist to work in our in-house Marketing team, managing the paid search budget, driving consumers to the DriveAway websites.
This role requires someone who is passionate and driven, with a strong analytical focus. We need someone that can manage a substantial budget, with hands-on, comprehensive experience with Google Ads, and have optimised campaigns to drive performance.
The core responsibilities include:

Own the SEM process and results for Australia and New Zealand

Manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads & Bing Accounts for both the DriveAway and AutoEurope brands in Australia and New Zealand

Monitor and perform ongoing keyword optimisation

Data testing, collection and analysis, identify trends and providing insights

Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns

Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies

Generating daily, weekly and monthly SEM reports with supporting analysis

Explore and qualify paid search opportunities through new paid PPC channels, eg. YouTube

Work closely with SEO team on keyword insights to maximise content optimisation

Leverage Global teams when required
Competencies & experience required:
-
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Paid Media

Proven SEM experience and success managing multiple campaigns across Google and Bing platforms

Experience with website analytics tools, i.e. Google Analytics

Accomplished in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

Extensive experience with bid management tools

Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports

Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field

Highly organised with excellent communication skills

Advanced Excel skills a must

Google Ads Certification is highly regarded

High accuracy and attention to detail
