Travel south on the Cunningham Highway to historic Warwick, soaked in early settlement history with sandstone buildings and castlelike churches. Follow the Sunflower Route to Allora, the childhood home of P.L. Travers who wrote the Mary Poppins stories. Visit the heritage listed Glengallan Homestead & Heritage Centre, a 19th century country house and Rudd’s Pub named after author Steele Rudd en route to Toowoomba.

Continue along the Warrego Highway towards Dalby then drive through the rich black soil grain growing area of the Jimbour Plains to the heritage listed Jimbour House.
