Start your adventure with the world-renowned city of Vancouver, where you can enjoy spectacular scenery, culture and cuisine. From Vancouver, follow Highway 99 to Porteau Cove Provincial Park, a celebrated destination for scuba diving, where you can swim around artificial shipwrecks and reefs so well designed they support a vast array of marine life, including octopus and starfish. There are several Provincial Parks on the way to Whistler, so relax and enjoy Canada’s natural beauty in Murrin, Shannon Falls or Garibaldi Provincial Parks.

On your way, be sure to stop at Stawamus Chief, one of the largest granite monoliths in the world. Try your hand at rock climbing or go for a hike to capture views of the Howe Sound and Squamish Valley. If you’re lucky, you may even glimpse Peregrine Falcons, which commonly select this location when building their nests.

When you finally reach Whistler, relax in one of its luxurious spas and stroll through the pedestrian only village to take in the vibrant nightlife. If you want to keep up with the action, Whistler offers everything from snowboarding and skiing to golf, mountain biking, hiking and cross-country skiing.

If you’re heading back to Vancouver, stop off at Pemberton on the way back to try paragliding and continue on Duffey Lake Road through Lillooet for different, yet equally impressive scenery.
