Day 1: Orlando

Start your trip in Orlando, a city filled with theme parks for every type of interest. From LEGOLAND to Universal and Harry Potter, the city is not shy of family (or couple and friends) fun options.It is recommended that Disney lovers stay up to four days in Orlando to enjoy all Disney parks.

If theme parks are not your thing, visit the Orlando Science Centre, Museum of Art, the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition and the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.

Day 2: Orlando to Jacksonville

Distance: 247km

Time: 2hrs 55minutes

Leave Orlando bright and early via FL-19. The drive passes through Ocala National Forest, a stunning location filled with ponds and lakes. Make a stop at the Juniper Springs or take a canoe down the lakes, a perfect place to spot local Wildlife.

The largest city in the Sunshine State, Jacksonville, is an urban part of Florida. Visit the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and Mosh (Museum of Science and History), an excellent place for interactive exhibits. Catch a game at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Kingsley Plantation played a significant role in Florida's history. The 1814 house and its surrounding structures have been preserved and shed light on a different era in the South.

City of Orlando, Florida

Day 3: Jacksonville to Daytona Beach

Distance: 150km

Time: 1hr 45 minutes

Head south via I-95S and then take the US-1 S. Make a stop at St. Augustine, which claims to be the oldest town in the USA. Known for its Spanish colonial building and historical landmarks, the city is known for its diverse population. Visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum.

At Daytona Beach, soak your feet in the water of one of the most famous beaches in the world. Walk around the pier and get some food and rest. If you are a car enthusiast, visit the Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR.

Day 4: Daytona Beach to Port St. Lucie

Distance: 274km

Time: 3hrs 35 minutes

Continue going south via A1 S/N, making a stop close to Cape Canaveral, and spending a few hours (or a day) at the NASA Kennedy Space Center. There are many activities to do and lots to learn about, stars and real people that have been in space.

Enjoy the scenic drive via A1, passing by Melbourne and Vero Beach. Getting to Port St. Lucie, go to its beautiful Botanical Gardens and admire the wide variety of orchids and native plants. The Savannas Preserve State Park is the home to manatees, river otters, egrets and alligators.

Day 5: Port St. Lucie to West Palm Beach

Distance: 77km

Time: 47 minutes

Leave Port St. Lucie towards the South for a short drive to West Palm Beach. The city is filled with great restaurants from different cuisines, great nightlife and packed with family fun activities.

McCarthy's Wildlife is a non-profit organisation that looks after endangered Wildlife surrounded by a beautiful botanical garden. The Norton Museum of Art displays American, European and Chinese art, including photographs and Contemporary pieces. For the night owls. The Square offers shopping and dining options with a side of arts and culture.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Day 6: West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale

Distance: 89km

Time: 1hr 45 minutes

After a morning soak at West Palm Beach, get back to A1 S/S. Make a stop at Hillsboro Lighthouse near Pompano Beach, climb up the 175 steps and take in the breathtaking water views.

Fort Lauderdale is known for its beaches and boating canals. Spend some time at Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas Beach, and its white sand beach surrounded by palm trees.

The Sun Trolley is a great way to get around, perfect for sightseeing. NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is a hit of culture and entertainment.

Day 7: Fort Lauderdale to Miami

Distance: 53km

Time: 1hr

For the last part of the trip, drive for one hour to arrive in Miami. The city has a lot to offer to its visitors, filled with famous beaches, a thriving cultural scene, and neighbourhoods such as Wynwood.

The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is a stunning Italian Renaissance-style villa with beautiful gardens. Open to the public, the Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum of international street art.

The Everglades National Park is the largest remaining subtropical wilderness in the US, and it is home to endangered, rare and exotic Wildlife.
